About

Savanna Project was developed out of a desire to change our modern day perception of what a lawn and landscape should look like. In 2023, Lake Buchanan and Lake Travis fell below 45% combined storage. On December 14, 2023, the Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer Conservation District declared a Stage IV drought. This is the first time in its 36 year history to take this measure. All around us the water is leaving our land, and habitat is lost for our local wildlife. With continued development coming to our Hill Country, the least we can do is reduce our personal consumption. This is the goal of Savanna Project.

David Lindley grew up in Kingsland Texas and spends most of his time outdoors. After starting a career in Landscape Irrigation he noticed a great need for water conservation. This led to Savanna Project, a company built on the desire to conserve our precious resources.

A proud Aggie, Roy Dunavant graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Rangeland Ecology. Growing up in Marble Falls, TX, has given him a passion for our local resources and enriching our native ecosystems.
